Purpose of the Role In this role, you will provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources Department, with a primary focus on benefits administration and employee support. This position will assist with benefits enrollment, employee inquiries, HR record maintenance, onboarding activities, and other HR functions as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with the administration of employee benefit programs, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and employee communications. Serve as a resource for employees regarding benefit plans, eligibility, enrollment processes, and general HR-related questions. Support the onboarding process by ensuring all pre-employment requirements and forms are completed accurately and timely. Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees regarding policies, benefits, hiring processes, and HR procedures. Create and post job requisitions to fill job vacancies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation. Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure all required documents are collected and filed appropriately. Assist the Benefits Specialist and HR Director with benefits administration, compliance activities, employee communications, and special projects. Assist with HR projects and initiatives as assigned. Provide administrative support to the HR Department and other duties as needed. Education and Experience Experience with an HRIS system. 1-2 years of Human Resources experience, with exposure to benefits administration preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Organized and dependable. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to problem solve, prioritize, and multi-task effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Team player with a customer-service mindset. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
